Blackhawks and Barnstormers.....a great first meeting!

We have such a good time at our first meeting. We have a few new faces and that was very exciting. We talked about the theme for the year, Adventures in Mothering.

In our roundtable discussion , we shared the most adventureous thing we had ever done. You wouldn't believe what all these moms had done! Our finalist included a mom who had jumped out of a Blackhawk helicopter and a mom who was caught in Liberia during civil war fighting. This mom had also flown in an old barnstormer airplane that did the upside down loops in the air. It will be great to get to know each other better through the course of the year.

Looking forward to the adventure ahead!!

Upcoming Event - Blueberry Picking!

Get your kiddos and come to Golden Bell Blueberry Farm and let them pick blueberries. My kids loved it last time we went and I have to admit, I did too. We will meet at 10am on Monday, July 21st to start picking!

My kids were 1 and 2 the last time we went and they had a good time. You are able to push strollers down the row of bushes pretty easily. Hope to see you there!
